The following plan will reflect the school operation for 2009 -11

 

1. School context

Tottenham Central School is set in the rural community of Tottenham. The school offers a broad curriculum including WAP & VOC ED courses for senior students. There is an emphasis on Technology. Tottenham Central School has an enrolment of 106 students of whom 17 are Aboriginal.

 

2. School purpose

The core purposes of Tottenham Central School is:

to deliver a curriculum which brings out the best in each individual through developing strategies in

differentiated curriculum, outcomes reporting and K-12 schooling; to improve student engagement

and connectedness and develop a culture of high expectations.

3. Long-term school strategic directions 2009 - 2011

Within a Quality Teaching environment:

· Develop Differentiated Curriculum across all KLA’s

· Improve linkages within 4T Community

· Increase levels of student engagement.

· Develop the Trade Training Centre as part of the Western Access Program
